Having looked a bit more on google most searches are telling me Monarch operate a 757 to Lanzarote, the 757 I know is a narrow bodied jet, yet when I pre booked our seats a map for a wide bodied jet came up :confused3 Anyone here know anymore about Monarch and why I am getting seat maps for what I think is the wrong type of aircraft.

It sounds like that is just the type of layout the type of jet that will be flying you to your holiday. Monarch has I think about 5 different plane types. If you look on the Monarch site you can look at their planes and the seat layouts.

I have looked at various websites and they all say the route is a 757 so the seat plan they are showing does not fit a 757, plus not sure a wide bodied jet would land very easily at Arrecife airport as it is quite small! Oh well will have to wait and see.

The plot thickens looks like a narrow bodied plane to me. Still not to worry you have bought your tickets so will have seats which is the main thing.:goodvibes

Just rang Monarch and although most websites say it is a 757 on that route it is actually an Airbus A300!

Yes quite pleased that the lady at Monarch was so helpful, although it was possibly a foreign call centre she was able to answer my questions very quickly and clearly.
