I will be heading to states from Canada to Joanne's and wondered if anyone knows the price of the mats there, or where the best place to get them.

My Jo's (and Mike's) have them for $9.99 but Jo's coupon doesn't exclude them so you can get them for $6 plus tax

My WalMart carried them for 8 bucks.

How long does a mat usually last. I just got mine on Mother's Day and I need a new mat already. :(

have you tried wiping it down with a baby wipe and letting it dry thoroughly? I got my Cricut on April 1 and I just stopped using my original mat. I'm going to try the spray adhesive idea though

I only get abot 10 cuts out of a mat. What am I doing wrong?

10? Serious? I'd be irritated! I can't afford new mats that often! Are you always using full sheets?

I've heard about wiping with baby wipes, but have not tried it yet. Would Chlorox Clean-ups work the same?

People talk about the adhesive spray but I don't know what it is. At this point, I will try anything to get more cuts. 10? Serious? I'd be irritated! I can't afford new mats that often! Are you always using full sheets?

are you doing full sheets when you cut? Always 6x12? Do you rotate ends?

I nread on the Cricut boards that some of the boards were defective. If you think you got some that are defective contact Cricut Customer Service.

I was wondering the same thing on how long they last. What does the baby wipe do to it? I do switch ends. wondering if I should contact CS?

the baby wipes clean up all the scraps and junk that gets stuck to the mat. I think my origional mat was defective - half the sticky got stuck to the plastic when I took it off, but I was able to get it to last quite a long time

I just started using a second matt and I have had my bug since Feb. I use baby wipes to wipe the first one off and it works.
The spray adhesive that I have (had it for my xyron and my sister uses for for the bug) is Krylon spray, it will not junk up the blade.

Baby wipes work pretty well. They still won't last that long after you have to use the wipes though.

I use the smallest sheet I think I can get away with. I rotate ends I insert into the machine and if I'm only cutting one of an item, I'll use the middle of the mat and guide the blade
