Possible to view availability online?

Just received our membership kit and docs for signature!

As an aside, a really cool customer service touch should be noted: We have people with two different addresses on our contract, and I was concerned about getting everyone together to have everything signed on the same date. The QA people told me that they would take care of that - I could fedex everything back signed by us at the first address, and they (DVC) would then send it for us to the other people. Very cool.

ANYWAY, the point: I thought I'd heard that it was possible to view availability for various room configurations in realtime online, but I don't see the option on the site now that I've got my PIN. Is this possible? If not, what's the closest I can get?

First of all, welcome home!

Unfortuantely, there is no online availability site. The only realtime online feature is a list of your reservations and point balances.

You can view room configuration but not availability. That's a feature that we are hope to see in the future.

The capability has to be there...or if not, really close...the wild card I think in realtime availability is the waitlist.

I travel to a conference each year in Chicago and the travel agency that my company uses shows on their website what room configurations are available at each conference hotel on each day of the conference.

Now, DVC may have more room configurations to deal with, but it would be nice if you could see if there's a day during your stay that you'd have to waitlist and then be able to decide if you want to do that or if you want to look at other dates (or other resorts) and have those lined up before you call.
