Sorry, but I just had to take a minute to brag about DD. They had Awards Day at her school today, and she got a few including Honor Roll and Citizenship for her class (first grade). I KNOW I'm supposed to be a "better person"...but I gotta tell you I got great satisfaction from the looks on a couple of parents' faces. You know, the ones that were quite surprised that the girl with two Moms is not only normal and well-adjusted, but actually excels in school! Most of the parents are great, but there are always those one or two who want to give me sideways looks. Today i got to smile and wave right back! :rolleyes1

Thanks for listening.

Congrats to your daughter. Smart and very pretty.

And Yay for you and your partner for being "normal" and proving that your relationship is no threat to anyone else.

Your daughter is TOTALLY adorable, and you have every right to brag and boast about how completely normal your child is. I cannot WAIT to have a son or daughter someday, hehe. ^_^ I would feel so extremely proud of them as well

Congrats to your DD! GREAT JOB LITTLE ONE! She is a cutie.

As for the other parents that give you the hairy eyeball, just ask them if they need a shave. LOL It is so much fun to confuse the heck outta ppl with obscure comments.

Is DD getting a trip to Chuckie Cheese or anything as a reward?

Brag on! With a child as beautiful as she and as smart and caring you have every right to be proud! You've put a lot of work into raising the child and it shows. Congratulations to her and to her Moms! :thumbsup2

Bring it, girlfriend! Not so much here, but on other boards, I very much brag about my extraordinary children, one of whom is graduating from High School and on her way to college even though all through school "they" said she had an IQ of 65!

Actually, she's saving her Chuckie Cheese money for the squished penny machines at The World! She's also practicing the Happy Dance she plans to do in all the ride lines. Only 11 more days! :woohoo:
