Concierge Collection - Shelburne NYC

Hi,
Has anyone stayed here?
Was it good value for your points and how were the rooms?
We are thinking of using this hotel at the end of Nov using our points (54 per night).
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never stayed here, but my cousin stays here frequently for business trips and speaks very highly of it.

As luck would have it, we just returned from a stay at the Shelburne Murray Hill using points. We were in a two bedroom apartment with a balcony that ran the length of the apartment and overlooked the Empire State Building. The staff was great and so was the room. The beds have been replaced and were wonderful! They are planning a renovation in August for the remaining furnishings and carpeting. I would stay here again.

BAD NEWS---ACCORDING TO MEMBER SERVICES THEY HAVE REMOVED SHELBURNE MURRAY HILL AS A NYC OPTION--THAT ONLY LEAVES THE REGENT
