if you had a park view could you watch the fireworks from your room?

I sort of like the pool view. Sometimes the DTD views at the DLH can be noisy. I have read reviews from a couple of people who actually changed from that side of the hotel. Now I stayed that side once and while it was sometimes a bit noisy, as soon as I closed the sliding door I couldn't really hear it. You can see the fireworks from that resort view which makes it very magical (if you choose to see them from your hotel) and also seeing the Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain and some of the other park landmarks is really neat. But for me I prefer the pool view. You can't go wrong with either!

When is your trip? The DLH is pretty much sold out in June, my aunt tried to change her room from a King to a double and was unable. You might not be able to change anyway, which makes your decision that much easier!

I had a DTD view in Sierra in April (8th floor I think? Perfered view), and we were able to see some of the higher fireworks beyond ESPN Zone. We didn't find the sound below bothersome at all.

So I have a preferred view book. Is this a fireworks view? I didn't book the standard because I thought that it was a view of the city, not DL property. Is this correct?

We've had pool view twice and loved it. I've also heard DTD view can be pretty noisy. I'd love I think though, and being able to see fireworks would be great. Really I don't think can get a bad view in the Sierra tower. But I like quiet so noise would be an issue for me if it was loud.
