Busch Gardens Transportation

We'll be in Disney World in December and will be spending 1 day at Busch Gardens. Has anyone used the Busch Gardens bus transportation? We're trying to decide if we should drive ourselves (since we'll have vans already) or if we should use their transportation. This will only be our second time to Orlando, so we're not familiar with the area. Also, we're from Hawai`i . . . our roads and freeways are very limited here . . . which makes it a lot easier to drive! Suggestions please! . . .

We have used the transportation numerous times and it was great however we drove there this year and found this to be easier because we could go and leave when we wanted and weren't restricted by times of the bus.

Thank you! We're leaning towards driving ourselves. I just hope we don't go on any unnecessary "detours" which we did a lot of on our last trip!

We've driven ourselves many times with no problem. There are only three turns once you get on I-4 going west. Four if you count the one that goes into the parking lot.

If the cost of the bus is much more than the cost of the gas to drive plus parking, I'd say drive it. We saw those buses rolling in the last time we were there. I don't know how often they run, but it would be more convenient to have your own car.

We stopped on the way back to Orlando for groceries and at a great vegetable market.

i have used the bush gardens transportation, it was fine but a bit long, maybe two hours per trip
and we were leaving at 5pm before parks close
i have to call some days before to make reservations, and i have taken the bus at pointe orlando.

Can someone tell me where the Busch Gardens Transportation picks you up when you stay at WDW? I know they pick you up at Universal Citywalk when you stay there but where is the closest pickup location for WDW.

it depends on where you are staying at WDW. on the east side, it stops at the premium malls. near the west side, there are a couple of kissimee stops.

I think I read that they don't pick up on Walt Disney World grounds.
