View Full Version : So I went to A.C.Moore today...

They are still in the middle of remodeling the scrapbook area but so far so good. They had lots and lots of nice new papers including Basic Grey and Bazzil and it was all 40% off! I could wallpaper our entire town with all the paper I own.....but of course I still bought more. ;)

Just wanted to give a heads up...

isn't the new paper fab?!?!?!? I already have some of the Cosmo Cricket paper from CKC but I will definitely buy more. Did you see the green one with the birds on it? SO cute, I think I need to come up with some excuse to buy those too.

BTW everyone the paper is sorted by color and some themes like Disney.

When I was there last week, it was just a mess. Nothing out except the Bazzil, and a few other papers. I think when it's done it will be nice. I liked the big bazzil color wheels, but you know they are going to get messed up.

I'm giving them another week to get straight. Then finals start, and I'll have some time to kill...can't think of a better way to kill it :teeth:

As the bird Mom of 11 birds (2 cockatiels and 9 budgies) I certainly did buy the bird paper - a couple pages! :)

Our store is still a bit of a "mess" but will look fab when they are done - so nice to see all that old stuff go. Now if they would only update their rubber stamp section..

I recently went to a class where we made a 6x6 album and I just LOVED it!! So nice to do that size after the 12x12 all the time - less pressure to fill the page. And with all this new cool paper you can cut up the 12x12 to make four pages for the 6x6! Some of that BG is hard to figure out what to do with the large page, but much easier to do with the small.

And, get this - I ACTUALLY DID SOME SCRAPBOOKING LAST WEEK!!! :cool1:

I was there also yesterday and was very happy with all the new paper. I didn't need any more paper but I couldn't pass it up being 40% off. I was thinking of going back today and using my other 50% coupon, I can always fine something to spend it on. Yesterday I bought new blades fromy Cricut at 50% off.

I agree!! But at least they do update their stamps on occasion unlike Mikes.

I was at our local AC Moore yesterday too and they have redone the scrapbook isles. They had new paper storage racks and were selling the old ones for $20 each. I ended up buying five 12 X 12 racks and one 8.5 X 11 rack. I had all my paper in Creative Memories accordian folders, in a couple of gigantic piles and on a different stacking paper rack that was far too overloaded. Now everything is very easy to see and accessable.
