OT - Proud dad

Had to share these with my Canadian friends. My DS has been fortunate enough to get the chance to work as a batboy for our AAA baseball team here in Ottawa. "The boy" lives, eats, breathes and sleeps baseball so this is HUGE for him.

Getting punk'd by a Charlotte Knights coach. He's giving Zak the "keys" to the batters box and telling him to run them over. The batter's box, of course, doesn't require keys (it's an area painted on the field). When he got there, they'd send him back to the Charlotte dugout for more details. This went on for a while before he caught on. Occassionally they'll stick gum on his helmet when he's not looking, or ask him to get the bag with the curve balls in it.

He's having the time of his life!

How great for your son! I'm actually quite jealous as when I was a teenager I desparately wanted to be a batboy for the Jays -- even looked into it but couldn't be one because I was a girl!
