I just booked that amazing airfare special out of Buffalo  !! We have never flown out of Buffalo before (living in Ottawa). Our flight gets into Buffalo at 6:45 pm and I can't get into Homewood Suites that night, however, we will have stayed there on the way to Orlando and that is where our car will be.

I am trying to decide if we should drive to Mississauga (brother in law lives there) or spend that night at a different hotel in Buffalo? How long is the drive from Buffalo to Mississauga? I am concerned it may be a long day for the kiddies (one is under 2).:confused3

Do most people who fly into Buffalo and live in Toronto drive home after/before flights? I don't have a clear idea how long that drive is. Are there any Tim Horton's along the way??:happytv:

From Buffalo airport, and depending on traffic, probably around 1 1/2 hours to Mississauga. Lots of Tim Hortons along the way!

Hi ~ I live in Mississauga. We flew BUF to MCO in March. We stayed at Homewood Hilton too!

Our flight landed around 6:45pm, we picked up our car at Homewood Hilton, got Timmy's on the highway near Stoney Creek, drove to Ancaster [Hamilton area] to pick up our dog from SIL and then drove home. We weren't tried at all.

It's a doer! S

Perfect, thanks for the replies. I won't stress over staying at Homewood Suites on the way home then. :goodvibes

If you're crossing at the Rainbow Bridge, follow the signs for the QEW to Toronto. Once you're through Customs, it's sort of straight ahead slightly to the right. It's the road that's cut in to the hill.

The very first Tim's is on Stanley. Which is like 2.8 minutes from the bridge. There's a drive through, but if you insist on going in, make sure you have 'a lot' of time because they're sooooo slow. You have to turn right off the QEW road onto Stanley to get to it, and it's on the driver's side.

If you miss that one, the one we like with the easiest access is Casablanca Road off the QEW.

Jim.

As for Tim's. There are more and more popping up in the Buffalo airport area. Never had a problem finding one when we have been down shopping. Sorry I am not sure of the addresses.
