View Full Version : floridaorlandotickets.net - too good to be true?

As a UK traveller wanting to get tix in hand before we go, this site - http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net - has a considerably cheaper Disney ticket that we're looking for.
Trouble is, the site isn't exactly high quality, and while it claims to ship to the UK for free, it's not obvious. And the freephone number for UK customers seems to click straight through to the office in the US which are currently shut.
Has anybody used this website before, or can anyone offer any advice to make sure we don't get stung?

I looked them up through the Better Business Bureau- they were listed twice by website. The first listing they were listed as unsatisfactory meaning they never resolved some complaints (2). Then they closed and use this company name which as you can see below they are a member and have no complaints. So I'm not sure if they are a good place or not but it seems like they have turned themselves around. I agree that the website looks cheesy and not very reputable. You can search any US company through BBB by name phone email or URL. Good luck!

I used them years ago...maybe as far back as 6 or 7. I have no recent experience with them. I had no problems with them when I did use them. However, I recommend that you "trust your gut'" if it doesn't feel right.
Here are some other ticketbrokers that I have used more recently. I haven't checked to see if all of them ship to the UK or what their fees would be.
The Official Ticket Center (http://www.officialticketcenter.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=tickets&refer=TC11WT#TICK-PRC)
Dreams Unlimited Tickets (http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/tickets/disney-tickets.cfm)
Undercover Tourist (http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/tickets/)
Discount Orlando Vacation (http://www.discountorlandovacation.com/cgi-bin/ccp51/cp-app.cgi?pg=cat&ref=specials)
Maple Leaf Tickets (http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/)
Compare their prices, including tax and shipping charges. And if you sign up for the MouseSavers.com Newsletter (http://www.mousesavers.com/newsletter.html) (which comes out on the 15th of every month), you'll find links in it for even lower ticket prices at one or more of the above ticketbrokers.

Have you checked for the 14 or 21 day Ultimate Park Hopper on the www.disney.co.uk website? This may be better for you than MYW and includes unlimited access to all four major parks and all five minor parks for 14 or 21 days from first use.
