We are doing Discovery Cove and was wondering if the crownds start thinning down by late afternoon early evening? Is the last Shamu show neat at night?

Discovery Cove is a much smaller and seperate venue from SW (next door so to speak). Their is no Shamu show at Discover Cove

I know it's 2 different parks. I thought about going over to SW in the afternoon and stay there the rest of the evening.

Just watched Sea World on the travel channel. The rides,(Journey to Atlantis & Kraken) is that apart of the admissiom or is that extra?

The Seaworld park has a Pay One Price ticket structure shows and rides are included. They also feature a good refillable mug program for soft drinks all day all over the park.

My family has been to Seaworld Orlando x4, DC X1, San Diego X2 and San Antonio X8. We tend towards two days at San Antonio but not a lot of competiion there like is with WDW in Orlando.

When in Combo with a WDW trip I would see Seaworld as a relatively easy park to tour except for the 4th of July Holiday crowd. I think you may have a pleasant time there but would expect the park to be packed as many will be coming out for the special night Shamu show they will have that night and the fireworks that will be done at closing so I wouldn't plan on light crowds or a emptying out that evening.

However I will venture to guess that WDW MK and EPCOT will be at least as crowded if not more crowded that day.

We're probably doing the same thing Bob. People here told me not to attempt it (even though it's not July 4), but that's going to be our only day available to "dine with Shamu"...we're doing Discovery Cove during the day and then over to Shamu and SW at 4:00 or 4:30.
I'm sure you know that your SW ticket is included with your booking for DC.
