OK, so I am new to the whole AP thing and trying to figure it out. We are me DH and DS 7. Right now we are booked at POFQ with MYW 9 day hoppers. If an AP rate comes out for late Sept can I change DS ticket to an AP ticket and then get the AP rate or do I have to change all our tickets to AP tickets to get the rate. Or do I just change an adult ticket?

So I could upgrade my ticket to an AP ticket and keep DH's as a regular ticket and still qualify for the AP discount? Wow, that really sounds like a deal. Did they have an AP discount last year for Sept 28-Oct7?

Yes you can do as you suggest. But you can't be in a MYW package. You'd be reserving ROOM only and then purchasing your tickets separately. (which you can do thru Disney Reservations but if you do that.. the tickets must be paid for at time of ordering)

For all you'd save buying them in advance, you can simply buy the 'regular' tickets at check-in.

I don't know the historical notes on AP discounts. :( Hopefully someone will chime in.
