Hi eveyone
We have just booked our first visit home from the 24th Oct to 7th November at a studio at BWV :)
Does anyone know how much ump/los passes will be for 2 weeks?
Thanks

Hey, neighbor! As soon as our resale contract is in the books, we'll be making ressies for that same time period - also at BWV!!
For that length of trip, I'd recommend APs or PAPs. After about 8 days, even with discounts, it's much more cost effective. Unless you plan to hit the waterparks more than 3 times, an AP will suit you just fine. Plus, if you then plan your next trip(s) during the next 365 days, your passes are covered!!

That's the best time of the year to go. I'm jealous you can go for two weeks. We usually go in the beginning of November but I can only do a week. It's teacher's convention in NJ and we take advantage of the time off from school. You might want to think about buying an Annual Pass for that long, especially if you are planning on returning at all during the year. Have a grat time!

In terms of crowds and costs. I perfer to go right after Thanksgiving. Same effect, but with holiday edition. You're right about getting the AP. Should also consider joining "Disney Club-formerly known as the "free" Magic Kingdom Card" for $40 (or $32 w/ Entertainment Discount) which should save you $15.90 (includes 6% FL sales tax) on AP. The Disney club would also allow discount on hopper tickets. I wished I have joined the club earlier.

Those are the only times we ever go. Either during the period Kaylee is going or the first two weeks of December. One gives you Christmas decorations, the other, the Food and Wine festival.
I think I prefer the Food and Wine festival. Getting home Dec 14 just kind of hurts the Christams season at home.

Don't forget tickets for Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party (about $34 extra)

Ump's for that long would be about $450 even with the DVC discount. PAP are 469 and you have them for 365 days, so you could use them for next years trip too (or any in between). The regular annuals are about $350, this is what we buy every other year since we only do the 4 major parks. As you can see if you're returning within the year the annuals are a much better deal.
Congratulations on your first ressie...have a great trip

Thanks guys.
I think we will be getting PAP as we will want to use the waterparks too :-) Definately going to MNSSHP.
Thanks for the advice. Only 277 day's to go, not that I am counting :)
