So anyway I'm going to vent here because I can and I like to stimulate conversation.
I booked CRT today. I've been there numerous times. I could take it or leave it. But we're going in Nov. with a family with two girls and it could be a once in a lifetime trip.
For 6 adults (2 kids over the age of 9, four parents) and 3 kids, the price averaged out to over $39 per person for breakfast there now prepaid. I was blown away.
Forget the gas companies....this is getting silly there now.

That is plain rediculous. Shoot you could do the Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fair for less than that and probably hotter food (I hear it tends to get cold before you can eat it at CRT)

$40 for breakfast? Wow!I have to call back but I think there's a price hike between now and then, plus they add the taxes and gratuity is automatic. The price now is $32 for adults.
I know I booked Thanksgiving dinner and the price from last year went up $5 per plate for adults and $4 per child.

We took our little princesses to CRT breakfast back in Dec of 2005 when it was one credit on the dining plan. That is the only time I have eaten in the castle and it was a life long dream.
Yes it is overpriced but you are paying for the location..... but wow when you look at the price per waffle...:scared1: I would probably take the girls again but tell the boys to go eat elsewhere. Not worth the money for them. Your idea of running through the castle with a turkey leg is classic... to get the true breakfast ambience AND to save even more money I will have my family dash through while guzzling a juice box and eating a pop tart. :thumbsup2
That said, it was the meal my kids ate the best our entire trip. The menu was simple yet satisfying. Or maybe they forgot to be picky and just ate what was served because they were overwhelmed with the princesses.
I personally didn't love the Norwegian storybook breakfast. No plans to do that again. My aunts (ranging from 52-75 years old) went last year... they have Norwegian heritage (through complicated family trees, I don't;) )... they went to dinner for the Norwegian food and were shocked to see all the little girls in full princess regalia.
I haven't eaten at 1900 Park Faire since 2000- back when we only had one boy. The food was good and I am sure we will do that next time.
