I will be staying at the Poly from Aug21-30 and I used the three letter code to get the 40% off room only discount. I wanted to know if I would be able to add another room onto my existing reservation using the code. We have some family memebers that would like to join us at the Poly but I didnt know how the code works in terms of adding/changing the original reservation. Would I be able to add on the extra room...should I give them the code so that they can make their own reservations...are there any rules about the code that Im not aware of? Any info would help...thanks!:)

How did you get a 40% code? That's a great deal.

The booking code in question had to be booked by March 15th.

Xmansmom : This was a discount offer sent to select homes earlier this year. A few people who did not receive the offer directly in the mail or email were able to book it. Since it has expired, it's no longer available.

527DisneyBelle: If the other room would be for the exact same dates as you are already booked, you can try calling and asking the CM who answers to check with Guest Services to see if you can add a room for your current reservation.

Guest Services will tell you yes or no. If they allow it, the second room probably will have to be booked and paid by the same person as is holding the current reservation. It would be considered an add-on to the existing reservation as opposed to a new reservation.

Giving the code to others would be of no use at this point, because they cannot book a new reservation with it -- it has expired.

Hope this info helps.

That 40% off code was valid only for people who received a postcard or email that also included a pin code to "activate" the code.

It had to be booked by March 15th.

The best bet is to call Disney and ask to speak with guest services to see if they can accomidate your request.

Thanks CanadianGuy. I've heard of those postcards before but didn't realize that's was the code being talked about. Maybe I'll get a postcard someday! :)
