I am trying to plan so I can make sure we have a great experience at BWV.
I am a Disney bus transportation fan, but I understand that BWV shares a bus. Could someone tell me whether BWV is the first or second stop? We had bad experiences with the bus to AK from VWL. It stopped at FW first and was 90% full before it even got to VWL :headache:
I am one of those people who  to get to the park for rope-drop, so I want to be sure to be prepared for the bus situation to the MK. What should I expect? If I need to, I can drive to the MK. How long does the ride take with the extra stop(s)? Also, is there a bus to EPCOT? If I go through the WS entrance, it's quite a hike to get to the "big" rides first thing in the am & won't I miss the rope drop at EPCOT? Help!!
Thanks!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

In my experience:
In the mornings, the BWV is the first bus stop, Swan second, & Dolphin thrd and park next. This is true whether the bus is going to the AK or the MK. (There is only boatr service to MG & EPCOT or you can easily walk if you prefere).
Mid day, the buses from the parks often stop at all the EPCOT resorts and BWV is last. We generally get off at the Swan and just walk back to the BWV when that is the case.
I don't recall for sure the order at park close - we seldom stay that long. But either BWV is first or the Swan is first. So far it's never stopped first at the Dolphin, YC, BC or BCV. If we're in a hurry to get back to the room, we get off wherever the bus stops first then, too, LOL.

Going to and leaving MK for Wishes a few weeks ago YC/BC had their own bus. The line for BW was so bad leaving and YC/BC so short many BW people got on the YC/BC line and got off at YC to walk home. Just something to think about.

Thanks. :goodvibes Return busses don't bother me, I'm generally a patient person. It's only having to worry over whether or not I'll make it to the park for rope drop early in the AM that really stresses me out! If Swan/Dolphin picked up first, I'd walk there. :crowded:

We've been known to take a taxi to get to the MK if we are in a rush. There are always cabs there.
No bus to Epcot. Some people think its a little farther to the "big rides" at Epcot from the International Gateway. It definately is farther to M:S and Test Track (I think Soarin may be a little closer to the IG).
No bus to MGM either, but you go in the front gate with everyone else.

I can walk to MGM, right? One of the reasons I wanted BWV this trip is that the traffic waiting on the road for entrance to MGM during SWW made us miss the park opening even though we left early - and the Padwan Training and etc. book up FAST! I'm hoping to avoid the congestion on the road leading into MGM this year. :darth: :yoda:

You can walk, it is a stroll - probably 10 minutes at a fast clip, 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. I can outwalk the boat, but I'm breathing hard at the end of it.

No need for a bus to EPCOT. BWV is located right at the back entrance to EPCOT so you can just walk right in.
If I am running late on a Magic Kingdom morning I like to take a taxi to the Polynesian, grab a cup of coffee and then take the monorail to the park. Given the thousands I'm spending on the vacation I'm certainly not going to stint on a $15 cab ride. To return, I take the monorail to EPCOT, walk through the park (eat lunch?), then walk to the room. Now time for an afternoon swim and nap!
Have a great trip!
p.s. If you tell the taxi driver you are going to the Magic Kingdom you will get dropped off at the TTC. Tell him to take you to the Polynesian. It's a nice thing to look at, the coffee is good, and you can get on the monorail fast.

The Contemporary is a better choice (if you don't require the coffee stop or want to stroll the Poly grounds) - you can walk from the CR and don't need to bother with the monorail or ferry at all.

I've stayed at both the Swan and Dolphin, as well as many stays at BWV. There have been times that I have gotten on the MK bus at the Swan/Dolphin and then gone to BW. Other times, BW was first. But, even those times that BW got picked up after the S/D, it wasn't a huge issue.
In fact, last Oct we were headed to MK for dd's birthday breakfast at CP. I had a card for the characters to sign but had forgotten it in the villa. Of course we were already at the bus stop when I remembered. I told the rest of the group to go to MK if the bus came, that I would meet them there, at the turnstyles. Ran back to the room, got back to the walkway to the busstop just as the bus was leaving. My cell phone rang, my dd is telling me to get over to the Swan, they were headed there!!! Ah, no honey...no way was I running all the way back through BW and over to the Swan. The next bus came very quickly..only took about 10 minutes for the next bus to come.
