Price increase alert!!

My guide told me yesterday that the price per point is going up to $80 on June 3nd.

Also Beach club will begin presells Febuary 3rd and they are hoping to start taking reservations in March for the 11 Month window?

Yikes!!! $80/per point. And just in time for my birthday. Thanks for the heads up. I don't think that any more points are in the budget for us right now. I guess that I'm glad to see the value in our existing DVC membership at the very least holding its value.

I would love to do a small add-on at Beach Club Villas but $80 per point is way out of our price range. I hope there is some incentive for current members.

If that is true ($80 ), I would rather add-on at OKW through a re-sale, or add on at VB. MB's at $62(VB) a pt seems a lot better now!:D

I beleive what Dan was saying is that as long as you purchase points at BCV before June 3rd you can get them at $75 ppt. I don't know if MB will still be offered or not.

To add to the rumors!

Heard some of the same info that has been reported above.

1. Heard new contract sales at VWL will end on February 2. They will still sell add-ons to current members.

2. MS will start taking reservations for BCV in March.

3. BCV will open in August.

4. The beginning DVC declared inventory will be 50 units.

Did not specifically ask, but thought MS will accept reservations in March for August.

The difference in layout is that the entryway to the 2nd BR is thru the foyer instead of thru the living room. Otherwise, the villas are the same as BWV/VWL.

Very interesting posts. Can anyone yet "confirm" that the point schedule will be the same as VWL?

Also, If you are doing an add on would they automatically match your present use year regardless of the month you added on?

Finally, if you did an add on this Spring, when would you get your initial point distribution?

My guide said the point structure would be about the same as BW pref. and VWL. So I would think same or a point or two difference. let's hope

You would get add-on points for your user year.
