Holiday April 9th 2007-April 23rd.
Sunday April 15th MGM STUDIOS
MGM today was opening at 9am and we had no ADR booked for breakfast, so we had breakfast at Everything Pop it was around 8.30am when we left Pop and got into the car to drive to MGM studios. Today was overcast with a few spots of rain in the air, not a hot sunny Floridian day.
We arrived and headed of course Straight down Sunset Boulevard to Tower of Terror & Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, we all love TOT but I dont like RnR.
So while they rode RnR I stayed in the shop and had a look around, both rides were straight walk on's.

When we came out of there it had started to rain so we made our way to The Great Movie Ride, the girls enjoyed it a bit more this time, last time it seem to go over their heads a bit.

We then made our way down Commissary Lane and saw Mike and Sulley.

Backlot Tour was next, we came out of there it was raining again so we stayed around here for a while looking around the shop waiting for the rain to ease.

The rain had nearly stopped so we made our way over to The Muppets 3D show, on our way we saw Woody and Buzz at Al's Toy Barn, sorry to say though no Jessie.

We watched The Muppets and the rain had stopped so they were putting on the Lights Motor Action show, they had delayed the start due to the weather so we walked straight in sat down and it started 12.25pm should of started at 11.50am.
We didnt watch this the last time we visted MGM in Florida, we had seen it at France a couple of years before so this time we decided to see it. It was just how we remembered it in France, apart from we could understand what they were saying this time.

We had a ADR for Mama Melrose for 1pm so we left the show just as it was coming to an end.

For starters we had the Brushetta's and the Mozzarella and Tomatoes.
The Brushetta sauce was made with a lot of vinegar and the girls didnt like it but DH and I loved it. They also though the Mozzarella and Tomatoes were too salty again DH and I loved it.

For our main DH had the 4 Cheese Pizza, I had the spaghetti Bolognese, DD Chloe had the Cheese and Tomato Pizza and DD Ellie-Mae also had Spaghetti Bolognese. For pudding Ellie-Mae had Ice Cream Sundae and I had Chocolate Truffle Cake. MMMmmmm

We enjoyed our main courses and pudding, however we did find it expensive and none of us came out feeling full, so although what we had was nice I dont think we would eat there again.
We left Mama Melrose just after 2pm. When we came out it was like a different day the clouds had gone and it was beautiful sunshine.
We then went over to The Sorcerers Hat and watched The Wildcats High School Musical Pep Rally, Chloe is a huge HSM fan so she was really looking forward to this.
It was a great little show, the girls got up and joined in.

We made our way back down Mickeys Avenue taking in, Journey into Narnia, Walts one Man's Dream, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and The Magic Of Disney Animation. And what did I spy on the way Cpt Jack..Oh yes

Little Mermaid, again we really enjoyed, also the Disney Animation we first went in and drew Donald Duck, then Chloe asked which character the lady would be doing next and she asked Chloe if there was a character she would like to do, of course Chloe said Stitch, the lady said OK so we joined the line again to do Stitch, we all really enjoyed doing these and the lady signed her drawing of Stitch and gave it to Chloe, to frame and to have in her room, she was well impressed.
Whilst we were in there we also saw, Meet The Robinsons and The Incredibles.

By this time it was getting late, we had missed the Cars Parade and the last showing of Beauty and the Beast. It was too wet to go in the HISTK playground and we had done all the attractions we wanted to do, we dont like Star Tours or Sounds Dangerous and we had also missed the last show of Indiana, so we went back down Sunset Boulevard and the girls and DH went and got FP's for RnR, whilst we waited for the time window on those we had a look around the shops and went again on TOT.

Fantasmic was already full and was about to start so we decided to leave the park before that finished. It was about 8.30pm when we left and we were all feeling tired so we headed straight back to our hotel and had Burgers and fries..again at Everything Pop and filled our mugs.
We were all in bed by 10pm.
Tomorrow Cape May, Shopping and Golf.
