Hotel to Boardwalk

We decided to leave a day early and are thinking about staying at one of the downtown disney hotels for 1 night. What is the easiest ways to get our luggage over to the Boardwalk for the remainder of our stay, we will not have a car? Is it just get a taxi or will the hotel do this for us. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You will need to get a taxi. The DD hotels are not Disney-owned, so they will not transfer the luggage for you.
