Hi all! I'm looking at buying a bagallini bag for my upcomming trip to DLR....the backpack one where you can fold it up into itself for storage. I already have a small packback like this [fake Prada one] and i'm worried about it not fitting everything I take into the parks. I was wondering if any of you have a Bagallini [any style] and if so how do you like it? Is it durable? Comfortable? And can it hold a good amount of stuff such as wallet, makeup bag, water bottle, camera, sun screen etc?

Thanks!!:goodvibes

Also could you tell me what your experience with weight capacity is? I know that once I load it up with pins etc for a day in the parks it will be quite heavy and i'm worried the material [having never seen it] might be really think and rip easily:eek: ........Thanks!:)

I know folks rave about the Baggalini messenger bag-I just ordered one myself today, as ebags had 20% off one day only. The reviews of that bag are very good on the ebags site, and lots of people use it for theme parks. My mom has a Baggalini purse and it's been great-seen lots of travel and the fabric has held up well.

I have the medium size bag that folds up-not a backpack.I bought it for my trip to NYC.Good size, very durable.I drug a Wii all over the city the last day instead of checking in with the hotel. It also went through the airport securty just fine.I wish it had a shoulder strap ,but other than that,I like it.

I also have a messenger style that I took to DL and Nyc.I took it all over NYC in the rain.My gum got wet-stupid I know, but it did.I love that it is secure to your body and you can pull it in front of you when you get on the rides at DL.It is pretty big actually and you can put alot in it.It can get heavy, but if you get a black one DH (if you have one) can help hold it.

I think you would like it if you bought one.

I have the messenger style one and love it with a couple of exceptions. The cell phone compartment is too small and it does not have padding on the strap. If you put too much in it, the lack of padding becomes noticable. When you don't over pack, it is fine.

I have the messanger style... I love it..it holds a lot..and..it is easy for the check point person to see in all compartments without me doing a lot of rearranging...
I have taken it to DL twice..and WDW once..and will be again using it at DL this coming June..It is still in great shape...

www.bagsbuy.com has great prices on these and use SAVE10 for an additional 10% off and register with their site for another 10% off...brings the messenger bags to around 19.30 each.

I bought the messanger bag and used it last June and hated it! It was too big and the big metal buckle like thing made it heavy. I prefer something smaller so now I have the Baggallini large wallet bagg. I love it! Can't put too much in it so it's not bulky or heavy!

OK well I ordered the zip-out backpack [I don't think the messenger's strap would be comfy for me]:confused3 It came in the mail today and it is VERY NICE! I got it in Khaki [yes I know no lime green....but in my defense it wasn't an option]:thumbsup2 It looks very durable and the carrying capacity is HUGE! I think my back will break before I could fill it! :lmao: I noticed the drawstring on it is a bit tight so when I pull it, it doesn't close the back all the way.....this concerned me because if I drop it I don't want anything to fall out! Luckily after I played with it a few times it started closing all the way! I'm sooo excited to try out my new bag in the parks!!!:cloud9: Now I have my Crocs and my Bagallini so i'm good to go!!!!:cool2:

Congrats on your decision..I did get the messenger bag..and I wore it crossways over my shoulder..and it worked great..I also got khaki..I didn't want anyone to look at my bag like a neon sign that said..steal me..lol..or..I would have gotten the hot purple...

Chikysmom, thanks for the hint about bagsbuy. I think I must be looking at the wrong one, though. The one I'm looking at (http://www.bagsbuy.com/s.jsp/br_Baggallini/b_2-1381.null-1381.104617/p_1/st_121602/sbstl_285128) is about $31, so two 10% codes wouldn't bring it to $19, right? I'm going to keep looking!

Nevermind! I tried the SAVE10 and it actually took $10 off! Yay!

I just got the turquoise messenger bag (it came two days after I ordered it from ebags!!!) and I like it a lot so far, though I haven't tried it fully loaded. I'm really short, but the crosswise strap feels very comfortable to me.

Okay, still having problems, lol! How do you enter more than one code in? Or can you?

I have the ripstop one. It's made out of that ripstop fabric-you know, the nylon with tiny little squares in it?
