Our regular thread for 'Who's cruising on Jan 19th' is broken, we can't post replies to it. I sent an email to the Webmaster about it with the link info.
We'll have to use this one I suppose.
We're really getting to be Short Timers!

Hey Towncrier, we will be the ones sitting next to you looking very, very sleepy - we have to get up at 3AM to leave for the airport on Sat AM. Seemed like a good idea at the time!!!! But, can't wait - it snowed all day today and was a high of 20 - warm and sunny here we come!

We don't leave until 3:00 pm on Friday (didn't want DS to miss another school day). Not arriving Orlando until 7:15 - but can't wait. Almost finished packing tonight, and can't wait to get on that beautiful ship!
We might be a little groggy too TC - 7:30 breakfast at Chef Mickey's b4 the cruise on Saturday!:D

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I should leave about 11:20 am Saturday morning in order to get to the cruise terminal at 11:30.
Yes, that's only 10 minutes and that's assuming lots of traffic, otherwise it's probably more like 5 minutes. We live about 3 miles away from the port.
For those interested the afternoon should make it into the low 80's. I acutally had to turn the air conditioner on for a few minutes in the house today to cool it off a little.
Hope to see all the DIS members. Finally got some ribbon, it's more of a bright green instead of lime green, but it should get the message across.
See yaa

Bags are packed and almost ready to go. I am in BIG trouble if they decide to hand-search my luggage - I will never get them closed again!
Never fails, I say I'm going to pack light but it never works. It's not so much the clothes; it's all the other stuff (snorkel equipment, shoes (and more shoes!!), 1/2 a medicine cabinet, enough film to open a camera store.... (you get the picture).
Safe travel to all & see you tomorrow!

We spent a lot of time last night packing clothes. We have four of the rolling duffle bag type suitcases and I'm willing to wager that they will all be stuffed. Sue is also planning to bring the garment bag. I think that she's running out to the store today to buy a travel iron. I sure hope that the boat doesn't ride too low in the water after they load all our luggage. :earseek:

Just found this interesting little tidbit.
