BCV Rumors

With these boards down I found myself looking at various other sites. Two comments/rumors that came up were a report that Disney would start taking reservations for BCV in March and also that they would begin sales as soon as February 2. No actual opening date for the BCV was given. I thought the report of sales starting Feb. 2 was kind of interesting since we haven't received anything from DVC but it's a "heads up" to maybe contact your guide if you are interested.

Also, December Use Year was reported sold out at VWL.

I was there last week and they will begin sales on Feb 2. Price not yet known. Opening date not yet known.

I think it's still a September opening.

Someone had posted an August 1st opening for cash, with DVC starting in September. Can't remember the source, though.

At the OKW member update on Tuesday, the CM stated that VWL sales to non-members would end on Feb 2, 2002. She later added that BCV sales would begin on Feb. 3, 2002- but made no mention of price or opening dates.

VWL sales will continue for current members after Feb 2. and, as of Tues., all use years were still available for add-ons. She mentioned that she expects VWL to sell out completely before summer. (I expect it may take longer- but that's just my guess.)

Are there other boards that are as good as these? I was in real withdrawal theses last few days.

I seem to remember getting something in the mail about the Feb. 2 date for VWL ending to public and BCV being available for sale. I don't think I dreamed it up!

I was going through withdrawel too when the DIS boards were down, and I checked out those other boards. They just didn't give me the "fix" I needed.;)

My guide says that the model would be at BWV not at BCV - so I don't know if you will be able to go the resort and see it (like you did at VWL).

Of course I hope she is wrong - I like to view the rooms in the setting that they were made for - VWL looked very dark at BWV.
