Room only discount for Poly?

Here's my delima ...

We have a 10 night stay at the Poly with free dining booked at the end of September. I remember last year we got a room only discount of 40% for WL during this same time and bought the DDP out of pocket. What I can't recall is if Disney offered the 40% off (a Deluxe) at the Poly also.

If the same holds true for this year, we'd come out much better taking a 40% room only discount. Is this 40% a traditional yearly thing? Should I cancel my current reservation and hope? Thoughts? :confused3

I would not expect that type of discount to come out any more this year. There was a 40% code early this year that was available with a pin code to the people who got an email or post card. That code had some dates in Sept.

The free dining was the best offer made to the general public for this time this year.

Regarding the email and postcard ... I suppose those are mailed to previous guests? Ya know, we booked through a TA last year. I bet that's why nothing from Disney. I mean we didn't recieved the first piece of snail mail, email, anything. Anybody have this issue when using a TA? :confused3
