What staterooms are across from the laundry room (deck 6, right?)

I don't have a specific answer to your question, but there are also laundry rooms on Decks 2 and 7 in addition to Deck 6.

The laundry room is across from room 6588. We had the room---didn't know it was across from the laudry room when we upgraded upon check-.

There were a few negatives of having the room...noise from @4:30 to 6:00 from the kids that came with parents to the laundry room (and some of the louder adults). One day, two guys were having a discussion leaning against our door frame..got a little more info then I cared about!! Another day someone was knocking. When I answered the door it was a toddler.... We often stuffed towels at the bottom of our door when the heat from the dryers was blowing under our door and warming our room.

The positive part of the location was being able to keep an eye on the activity in the laundry room when I needed to use it, and our room always had that freshly laundrerd towel smell. LOL

Oh well, we were able to get a cat 6 room at a great price, so all-in-all, it was worth it!!

I just remember the heat as we walked down the hallway, and the smell of the room made my stomach turn (of course, onboard it didn't take much for that to happen!)

Thank you for the location - I just didn't want to be too close.

DH and I had the room for our first cruise. It wasn't too bad, we were usually gone in the afternoons, so didn't have the noise problems, and with the late seating, everybody was usually out.

The downside was the fact that we could hear voices outside the door, and there always seemed to be a crowd outside our door. Didn't notice too much problem with heat or smell though.

I wouldn't do that stateroom again, however, and would rather go further aft.
