We're booked on the Easter Wonder cruise - can't wait but a couple of things are worrying us.

1. Is the parking at Port Canaveral secure? We will be driving there in a rental car and don't want to return from the cruise to problems with the car.

2. As we're from the UK, it seems a waste of suitcase space to pack a suit or jacket for my husband to wear once on a 16 night vacation. Do you think he would be OK in a smart shirt and tie, without a jacket, for the meal at Tritons (we're going to give Palo a miss because we don't think it's fair on our 14 year old who adores gourmet food!!)

Thanks for any help you can give us.

praking is fine, although I recommend grabbing a shuttle at the Hyatt in the airport.
He will be fine without a jacket and does not even need the tie. Realize some folks will have a tux and some will have a suit and some will have pants and a shirt.

We also sat with a couple from the UK at our cruise. He has just stayed at WDW a week before cruise. He explained to us it was too much packing for two weeks - he looked fine and no need to explain, dark silk button down shirt - no tie. I said no need for explanation - some people will look and judge. Don't worry about it.

Just returned from the 1-13 four day and all seems well on the Wonder... been on three Diz cruises and have driven to the port and parked my POV there three times. Never had any problems... the upside appears to be that you can be off the ship and on your way in a matter of ten or 15 minutes and don't have to wait around for your transportation to arrive, load you up, and take you to wherever... cruise was first class... Disney does it right... for what it's worth... Freeport truly sucks. Hard to believe that 24 hours ago I was sipping on a Captain and coke at the adult beach at Castaway... have a great time!
