My friends just came back from the world, and gave us some left over fastpasses we will be going in august. will they still be valid then?

Most FastPasses have the date printed on them and a window for the return time. They are meant to be used on the day that they are issued and (ideally) during the timeframe stated on them. If that's the case with the FPs that your friend gave you, they are pretty much a nice souvenir. The actual color of the ticket (which changes from one day to the next) and date would be a dead giveaway to the CM working the FP Return Line that they were not issued that day.

unfortunately they won't be good any longer. they have the date and a certain block of time in which u can return. sometimes CM's don't check, but there have been more times than not that i've seen them check, so i wouldn't even want to take the chance
