View Full Version : A crazy, unbelievable science class.

This is what happened in my 6th period science class today. I am still in shock.

We walk into the class room and the substitute tells us there is a bellringer on the board. So we sit down and we start the bellringer and are talking quietly. So, Alex throws a paper ball at Maher, and Maher says "Alex! What was that for?" And then, Alex starts screaming. The substitute gives Maher a referal (a slip that gives your either ISS or OSS) and sends him to the office. Then, he moves Alex in front of me and beside Cameron. And he moves Atiya, who wasn't even involved at all, to Maher's old seat. Atiya asked the sub why she got moved and then he wrote HER a referal for asking him. The class is just outraged and in shock at what happened. So then Aja raised her hand to ask why Alex didnt' get a referal and then the sub gave AJA a referal. He told her that she wasn't recognized and wasn't supposed to speak. Then he asked if anyone else wanted a referal. No one raised there hand. But, he gave Ryley and about 4 other people one ANYWAY! The sub says "I can't keep a straight face" and starts laughing. And Keria laughs and then he wrote HER a referal for "uncontrollable laughing". Then ALEX starts screaming at the class again. I remind you, the sub hasn't given Alex anything. Then the sub tells us (the remaining few) that we were extremely disrespectful, we were not acting like an honors class, we have no respect for anyone, etc. THEN, the SUB gets on his CELL PHONE and starts TALKING to someone! I was like WHAT? I mean, he was just telling us about respect and then he goes and answers his cell phone!! Kelsey asked him why he did something, and then he starts yelling at KELSEY! So when the bell rang, the remaining class was planning on going to the office to back up the other kids that got referals and were in the office. So we put our books down in our 7th period and get ready to go and our 7th period teacher tells us we can't! She says we have no right to go up there! I was like OMG! Then, in the middle of 7th, the half of the class that got the referals came back to 7th. They said that the office wouldn't even let them tell what happened and defend themselves. They said that they had no right to talk. Then our 7th period teacher told us that the sub had every right in the world to do what he did. She said that she would have done the same exact thing. I were like OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! And yeah, Alex didn't get any punishment at all and he's the one that threw the paper ball and scream at the class not once, but twice.

I am just SOOO mad. So yeah, sorry about the length. I just had to vent. I am just, sooooo, I don't even know. I can't describe it. It's just UHH!

Wow thats horrible.I would be as mad as you if that happened. They should have let the kids that went to the office tell the story although i doubt they would have believed them anyways but yeah, thats just stupid.

OMG I know. And all the teachers always say, "Life's not fair." But that's just taking it too far. :sad2:

That sucks! Teachers think that just because they can give you a referral, they will. They come up with stupid things that you do and them BAM! Referral. :sad2:

It's horrible. All the parents are getting together and taking it to the board of education.

I hope you know that subs have very little power and authority. Make sure your parents all get together and do something.

They definately are. Alex (the yelling, paper ball throwing kid) could get away with murder. He threw a desk at someone last year and didn't get in any trouble what so ever. The teachers tell us to leave him alone because he has "problems". But he has no right at all to throw things and yell at people!

If he was subbing in for my history class he would have had a lot worse of a class to handle. That teacher needs to get a life.

^ Agreed. My 7th period teacher told us that our class's behavior has gotten terrible over the course of the year. She said that teachers used to look forward to having us, but now we're just another class.

And yet, only one student acted up.

I know I'm a tad bit late. I'm really sorry you had to endure that torture. I can't stand teachers like that.

Last year in Pre Algebra (honors), my teacher literally called everyone in my class idiots. And screamed at us for misinterpreting a math problem on a quiz. "How many of you are in honors language arts? You should know how to read! Yet all of you get this problem wrong! You guys are stupid!"

Of course, we flipped out, and told our parents. The next morning, four parents, including mine, called the school principal to tell her what happened. Although this teacher didn't get fired or anything, something must've changed, because this teacher never said anything out of line again . . .

If you haven't already, get parents to call the administrators.
