Hi, I am trying to find a really nice camera that auto focuses for me, and that has a really nice lense that I might be able to focus someday when I figure out how to. I have a bad camera right now, and all my pictures turn out blurry and you can't take a picture if anything is moving at all! Is there a camera out there that you can take great moving shots, and also takes great night pictures with no flash, so I can take pics of the Electrical parade and fireworks?
Thank you for any help.

You would get a lot of great help on the DIS photography board...you might want to post there too!

The thing about blur shots at night is because the lense is opened longer than it does during the day time The more light exposed, the more the picture will show. which means you have be more stable while the lense is still opened. either steady your hand with an object or get a tripod. Thats about all you can do.

The photog board is a great suggestion! My suggestion is to think about a price range you would like to spend and look for the best camera in the range (www.dpreview.com (http://www.dpreview.com) has some great, comprehensive reviews). Then when you make the purchase, sign up for a digital photography class through a local community association or college, it will teach you all of the things you need to know to pull off the shots you are looking for!

I agree there many nice cameras that will do what you want, but you have to take the time to learn how to use them.
