Pinecone ?

A month or so ago lots of us signed up through a Pinecone banner. I signed up and got the e-mail, along with a preliminary survey to complete. Since then I have heard nothing. Is anyone else in the same boat? Just curious. I was able to set up an account, but I am not able to use the site, except for the FAQ, and other parts of the site that everyone can access. I have e-mailed Karen Scott a second time now. The first time she said sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks for the preliminary survey to be approved....well that was over 3 weeks ago. I'm waiting to hear back. I really want to participate with them.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this experience, or if it is just me.

i signed up a few weeks ago too but i received a couple of preliminary emails within the first week or two. Then I received 1 survey which I completed. I received $5.00 in my paypal account within 2 days. :thumbsup2
I haven't received anything else since then.

I never even got that far...I don't know what happened. Waiting to hear back from Karen Scott.

I signed up through the banner also, however I have been able to do about 4 surveys, and now for the past two weeks I havent received any surveys! :headache: I was really enjoying those extra five dollars here and there. :)

I've done 2 surveys and received both checks very quickly. :yay: I also recently did some pre-qualifying surveys where I MAY receive a product to try, but haven't received anything yet.

I signed up around the same time (roughly a month ago) and I've gotten one survey, and received the check in the mail very quickly.

I have been a member there for a while, I haven't had much for the last month or so, but this week got 3 surveys. Maybe they were just gearing up with all the new people. I don't remember how long it took when I first joined. One great thing about Pinecone is that there are only 2 types of surveys they send out. The ones you get paid for and then the qualifying type, those only come out once in a while. Since I changed from checks to Pay Pal, I get paid with in 48 hours, too.

I've been a member for awhile and the frequency of my surveys varies alot month to month. In april I only rec'd one survey but then in may I rec'd three and a product. I think it all depends on your demographic those who signed up and didn't get anything don't worry you'll get one sooner or later just be patient!

I agree! I had 3 in January, 4 in February, 1 in March, 3 in April, and 3 so far in May and I just received a product to test today. Last year I think I made at total of $90 - this year I am up to $70 before testing this product. :cool1:

Well, this gives me hope. I signed up in mid-April. I did some preliminary surveys as well. I got two real ones and received the checks in the mail within a week. Pretty good I guess.

I'm the same as the OP. I filled out the initial sign-up survey and haven't heard anything since. Would love to earn $5.00 per survey!

I finally got en e-mail back from Pinecone. The e-mail did say "sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner...." But she also talked about how after the first "generic info" survey that they send you they decide if they can use you based on your demographic info, etc. She said something in the e-mail like People who work for or who have family members who work for fast food places, packaged food companies, and a couple of others are generally not accepted, and also mentioned "other industries" without specifying. We do not fit into the categories of anything she mentioned specifically, but DH does work in a TV station. I'm wondering if that disqualified me? But I thought it was odd that she would mention so many other specific job categories that were totally unrelated....why not look back into my app. and say, sorry you won't be eligible because someone in your family works for a tv station. Or even, you many not be eligible because someone in your family works in an industry that disqualifies you. To have all those other industries listed seems to me a waste when that does not apply to me. And the e-mail "sppeared" not be be a "stock" e-mail either. It was somewhat personal. Very strange. I think I am going to try e-mailing back one more time to clarify. I just think the whole process for me has been strange with pinecone. I was really hoping to get in, but I am not hopeful anymore. I'd just like some clarification!

Is it possible that my first account somehow became inactive?

I have not had anything in at least 3 weeks, but that is VERY normal for them. They only send things you qualify for, so spme months I get one or two and others I get a few more.
