I'm thinking about getting started on digital scrapbooking. I've already invested so much money in the paper supplies, I don't want to spend a lot until I know if I will like going digital. Where can I find some great kits for not much money? I have found a few free ones but if you know of any more please share those too. Thanks!!!:goodvibes

It's late so this will be brief, we've posted links before, you can try a search, although the search here isn't the greatest.

Lots of really great freebies:
www.shabbyprincess.com
www.digitalscrapbookplace.com
www.freedigitalscrapbooking.com (slow downloads)

Great daily downloads:
www.scrapgirls.com (in store or newsletter)
www.scrapoutsidethebox.com (in forums)
www.digitalscrapbookpages.com (in store)

I'll come back with more during daylight hours.

2peas do a monthly kit and you can go back through the moths for the old kits - they stretch back a few years now.

I mostly use the digital scrapbook place because they have tons of freebies. FYI: I also found a seller on ebay who has disney stuff for 5.99 per kit. Which I think is pretty cheap since you can use it over and over again.

Thanks guys! I've been a downloading fool. I don't know how you keep it organized though, I printed a list of what is in each kit into word and printed a little picture of each one but I could see how that would get to be a pain after a while.

I organized mine by creating a file entitled "scrapbook stuff". within that file, I have separate folders for backgrounds, frames, alphas, embelishment, and so on. Once I have downloaded the files I then "move" each piece to the appropriate folder. It seems like a lot of work, but it really is no big deal once you get it set up. Then when I am looking for a background or whatever, I know where to go.

Happy scrapping!
