...has just reminded me of a trick an old boss played on me when I was a young whippersnapper. I used to work in works services, where people who lived in the RAF married quarters reported any faults with their houses. One day I got in to find a note on my desk from my boss saying a guy had phoned to find out why the big end in his boiler had not been replaced - and the guy's name was Hugh Janus. I phoned the number he had left me and asked to speak to Hugh Janus, not even understanding why the guy who answered was in stitches and all the girls in the office were laughing as well :rotfl2:

I got my own back a few days later when I left a note asking him to phone Mr C Lyons - the number I had given him was for London Zoo ;)

Classic April Fool pranks. Oh and Bart ringing Moe's, of course. The Mr C Lyon one was a favourite in our office when I was a whipper snapper (albeit the number was for Bristol Zoo).

Carol, I think that pre-dates You-Tube. The Stringers sent it to me by email years ago and it's the funniest thing of all time. If ever I'm feeling down, I dig it out - it has me crying with laughter every time.
