Room Discounts for Cash Reservations

I am new to DVC and I thought I understood everthing, but it seems the more I know the more I realize I don't know:confused3

Do DVC members get room rate discounts for rooms they are paying cash for and what is that?

Rooms that are part of DVC?

Rooms that are Disney but not DVC?

We have AP's, but the rates for late September have not come out yet.

DVC members get 25% discount from rack rates for DVC resorts only...nothing for the regular WDW resorts.

And there are only a certain number of villas available with the discount, so the discount is based on availability.

I think we are going to wait for the AP rates. There are members of our group that are set on staying at POR.
