View Full Version : Making restaurant reservations from overseas
We are planning on doing a couple of character meals when we visit in October and from what I've read it's best to book priority seating beforehand - problem is I've only seen phone numbers to do this, and don't really want to be ringing the United States from Australia if I can help it. Is there any way to do this via email, or a local call??

As far as I know, there is no email way of doing it which is a real pain for overseas visitors.
Its been a problem for us too so we actually don't bother making any bookings until we arrive and then just take what we can get.
Sooner Disney realises that not all visitors are able to ring easily due to excessive cost or time zone delays the better in my opinion. ;)

Are you staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels? Grand, Pier, Disneyland Hotel? If you are, there is a department that could help via e-mail. They only assist if you are staying at one of the 3 resort hotels. You can e-mail them at vacationplanning@disneyonline.com.
We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, so I will try the email. Thanks very much!

It shouldn't cost you too much to phone. I had to ring our hotel to confirm our reservation. I was speaking to them for just over 3 mins and it only cost $1 (we are with Telstra). The time difference was the only problem.

We booked over the phone (live in Melbourne) and I think the total call cost was around $2.50. That was actually for 2 calls - one to Disney dining and the other to the Rainforest Cafe (cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!)
