AP Code "FDK" not valid at WDW???

Hello,

I tried to get the AP rate using FDK today and was told there was no such discount code available. Anyone else try this?

We are already booked at OKW in a 2 bedroom villa for June 2 - 14, and I hoped I could use the code for a great discount for June 3-14.

The gentleman at WDW told me to check the WDW site for AP codes, and I found a code of FDL, but when I tried this code I was told it could only be used for studios or one bedrooms.

Has anyone else tried to use the FDK code?

I Just got off the phone with Disney & transferred our AAA rate to the new AP rate for 6/5/07-6/10/07 @ OKW, 2 bedroom unit.:confused3 I called on the Passholder line, but didn't specify the code. I just asked if it was possible to transfer the reservation to the new AP rate. Try again!

I found the number. Unfortunately I was 2 minutes too late...but I will try tomorrow a.m. Thanks for your info, I was ready to give up. I spoke to 3 different cm's, my husband called okw and they passed us on to operations, and yet no one seemed to be able to get us the new rate for a 2 bedroom. Now I have hope. Since we are staying 12 nights, it is a big discount also.

Be super careful when giving codes on the phone.

F sounds like S and some other letters..

D sounds B,C,E,G,P,T,V,Z

K sounds like J

Give a word for each letter.. F as in Frank, D as in David, K as in Kyle.. Or whatever.

I'll bet the CM misunderstood a letter.

I called the regular Guest Services number and asked for an AP rate when I requested my dates. I got the discount with no "code" given.

I guess it really depends on how knowledgeable the person is at the other end of the line. I spoke to 3 different people at guest services yesterday, someone at OKW and someone at Operations. No one was able to help me with the discount.

May I ask what the rate was for the 2 bedroom?

Hi lomillerin,

The regular rate is $610.00 plus tax for a total of $686.25 per night.

The new AP discount is $465.00 plus tax for a total of $523.13 per night.
A savings of $163.12 a night...and that sure adds up.

I couldn't wait until I got home from work to see if you were able to get the discount. I'm happy you were connected with someone who knew how to help you!
