I think I'm going to do it. I'm sure in the not so distant past, you'll find that I replied to a post and said that I would "NEVER" wear Crocs.

I've changed my mind. I"m going to get some for both me and DS.

Where is the best place to order? I'm going to run to our local Dick's to see what the selection is like after DS wakes from his nap.

I've noticed that on some of the websites, lots of the disney crocs for kids are sold out. Is that a normal thing to expect?

Well, as another with "croc shame" ... I've been looking around at various stores as I'm considering my options. I've seen great selections of colors in sizes in the kids Disney crocs at all the stores I've been to that carry them. A lot of Hallmark stores are carrying them and I saw them at my MC Sports, so I wouldn't be surprised if Dick's had them too.

For myself, I went with Croc flops in the athens style. I don't know if I can bring myself to do crocs ... I'm more of a stiletto kind of girl and crocs are so .... well, they're crocs! haha :rotfl:

I think my parents are going to order me an adult pair of the Disney crocs when they place their order because they're pretty insistant that I need to wear them to survive the trip ....:confused3

I was in our local Dick's over the weekend and they had a lot of Crocs! I did not see the Disney crocs, however. I saw Disney Crocs at Dillards.

Hi! I'm Mindy and I'm guilty of croc shame! :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's taken me a while to come to this decision, but I see so many people raving about them. I'm just going to suck it up and get some. I'd love to have Disney Crocs before we head to the beach in a few weeks, so I will also be checking our local Hallmark stores. I've seen them there in the past. That might be a better choice than Dicks.

I hated them. I mocked all people that wore crocs. I finally ordered them for my daughter last week, not realizing that we would be going to disney this year. Now that we are going happy I got them. I purchased the maryjanes cause them seemed more comfortable to walk in. I got them from extremefootwear.com. They had a good selection and came quickly. Maybe I'll order a pair for myself before we leave.

I would recommend the Sassari style if you're looking for something with some height. They're the first Crocs with (a wedge) heels.

I ordered from ShoeBuy and they were great! They have free shipping and a fantastic return policy. I accidentally ordered the wrong size (a MENS 8 and not a MENS 6, WOMENS 8) and I sent it back to them and I am wearing my 6/8's right now.

In addition, www.msn.com has their $10 discount link again today. Go to www.msn.com and look for "Shoe sale: Save $10 + free shipping (http://g.msn.com/0AD00052/1114170.1??HCType=1&CID=1114170&PG=SHPSAD)" and you'll save $10! If you're ordering more than one pair of shoes, do a separate order for each :).

For all my online buying these days, I shop at shoebuy.com. They carry many Croc styles. Free shipping and free return shipping.

Their return/exchange policy is great and so easy! On Sunday, I processed a return online. I called them first though because I had been hoping to do an exchange, but they were out of stock of what I wanted. They told me that they would honor the coupon I used on the original pair once the other pair was in-stock. I thought that was great.

So I finished processing the return and printed the UPS label. Monday, I brought the box to work where UPS picked it up on our regular schedule. Yesterday (Tuesday), I received an email that my account had been credited.

It was so easy! I've done an exchange before and it was just as easy. And that time, I just dropped off the box at a local UPS Store.

Super Easy!!

Oh, and I have multiple styles of the Crocs (except I just recently realized that I don't have the ever-popular MaryJane's - what is wrong with me), including the Sassari's shown above. Mine are Black & White. I LOVE them. And everyone at work has mentioned how cute they are too.

I    shoebuy!!! :)

I want black/white sassari's so badly...hurry up shoebuy and get them in my size/s! I'm having troubles, though, being a half size. I bought the cleos in a 7, and the are a tad too small. I'm waiting for them to come back in an 8 so I can try them, but what if they are too big???

I wear an 8 1/2 or a 9 in just about everything. My Sassari's are a 9 and they are perfect. At least with Shoebuy, you know when you order, if they don't fit, the return process is so easy.

I know! I should have bought both the 7 and 8, and just returned the one I didn't want since it's so easy to. That's what I'm going to do for the sassari's when they come back in...no harm no foul! :)

How does sizing work? I typically wear a 6 1/2 or 7.

they say that for unisex sizes, order 1 size down. I wear a 7.5. I have the Athens in a w7/m5. I have Primas in a 7 (too tight, but 8's are too big). I ordered the Cleos in a 7, and they are a bit too small. I tried on the Disney crocs in both small (6-7) and medium (8-9). The smalls fit, but my toes hit the front. I think if I wore the strap in front instead of in back, they would be perfect. The mediums felt way too big.

hth! :)

Your best bet may be to go to a local store that carries them and try them on. The only problem is that some people find that different styles fit very differently in the same size. I haven't had that problem. Although...I do have 2 pairs of Aspens which I bought at the same time, same place in 2 different colors. The navy fit a little smaller than the khaki. The khaki are almost too big and the left foot is actually bigger than the right. It's weird.

The other option, order from Shoebuy.com in the size 7 and if they are too big, send them back for the smaller size. Shoebuy's return/exchange process is so hasslefree that getting the wrong size isn't a problem. I wish more companies did business the way they do.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm an 8 1/2 or a 9 in every shoe. All of my Crocs are 9's and I have no problems. But Cryssi is a half size and has had sizing issues with different styles of Crocs. I don't think anyone can tell you exactly how sizing goes. It seems that with Crocs, you just need to try them for yourself. You can check out the Crocs website (www.crocs.com) for more sizing info, but I really do think you need to try them.

Oh...and Beach and Cayman styles look almost identical. The difference is the sizing. One comes in the between sizes (L = W8/9) (translated that means Large is a Women's 8/9) while the other comes in whole sizes (W8 or W9). One style may work better for you than the other.

I got a pair of Disney Cayman [pink/pearl] and was very surprised by the sizes. I'm usually a 5 1/2 or a 6 [small feet] but when I tried on the 5's they were waayy too big......I ended up buying a size 4.:scared1: I haven't worn a 4 in about 6 years!! But man they are perfect and oh so comfy!:cloud9: I'm going back this weekend to buy a red/black pair!!!

If you go to the crocs website (www.crocs.com) there is a section on sizing. Scroll down to the bottom and click on sitemap (in small red letters) then go to wearing crocs, then sizing info. It will tell you how the crocs should feel. People think that it is differerent when the strap is down that you are not supposed to wear them but as long as you can comfortably get your index finger between the strap and your heel, you should be fine.

Does anyone know what to do if the strap breaks? The strap broke off one side of my DS's crocs.

You can get a new strap. If it was the black plastic that broke, they can still send you a new one. I know someone whose daughters plastic broke soon after getting them and she contacted crocs and they said that they would replace it for free because those are the most breakable part of the shoe. You can go on the website and find it, or email them and ask.

Oh...the Athens are so comfy. Hubby and I both have a pair and I put mine on as soon as I get home at night. I hate flip flops, but I love my Athens.

Just so there is no confusion, at least with the Beach and Cayman styles, they should not fit snug to your feet. When standing flat, only the bottom of your foot should be touching the bottom of the croc. There should be a small space everywhere else from the toes through the side to the heel and over the top of the foot.

I broke down and bought a pair of crocs. I bought the patra style. They came on Monday and I have been wearing them whenever I get the cahnce. They are soooooo comfy. I got this particular pair because I thought they's be the easiest to wear to the airport when I am inevitably picked for the extra screening.
