tipping town car service

Sorry--I know this answer is here somewhere, but with the search down...

How do you tip the town car service? Do you pay 1/2 the fee each time and/or the tip? When do I present the coupon I have? Thanks in advance--I can always count on you all for the answers! :)

If you are paying a round trip fare (round trip is usually cheaper than 2 one ways), you pay the full fare when you are dropped at your resort and give your coupon then. I always tip half each way, both times we used Tiffany for a round trip we got a different driver on the way back. I always tipped $10 each way for 2 or 3 people, we always had excellent service.

We use Happy Limo and have sometimes had a different driver for each leg of the trip. We bring extra cash to use for a tip each way.

You pay the round trip fare when you get to your hotel. You present the coupon then (they take credit cards at that point also). Tip each way. We tipped a couple of dollars extra on the way to the hotel because of the grocery stop and help with the grocery bags. They were great! We tipped $12 on the way, and $10 on the way back.:bounce:

We used TTC and paid the full amount when we arrived at the resort. I gave him my coupon and he put it on my mastercard. I added a tip on for the driver, $15 since we had a grocery stop. On the way to the airport at the end of our trip, I gave the driver a $10 tip in cash.
