Just had to pop in and say that is freakish. People actually allow you to walk into their rooms and use their fridge? Out of kindness? Do you drink other peoples beverages? Give them a room key? Maybe it's the city in me but WIERD :)

This thread is advertising our free fridge swap as we still have lot's of dates open. Anyone staying at the All Star Movies can use the free fridge during their stay (if their dates are available) for little or no charge. You sign up, pick-up the fridge (or have it delivered) from the bell storage area at the Movies and use it during your stay. Disney charges $10 a day to rent a mini-fridge but our swap will eliminate that cost. Just return the fridge to the bell desk when you are done and the next DIS'er picks it up and so on.

Well, if you change your mind and want to use a free fridge for 3 1/2 days let me know. The bell desk can deliver it and pick it back up when you are done.

Well, if we can keep our swap going for a whole year then you can use ours! So far we have a few folks signed up for parts of January and February so it may work out...as long as our fridge doesn't die 1st!

Someone else expressed interest in those dates yesterday and I am waiting to get official word if it's a go. Soooo, I will let you know ASAP if you can use the fridge if they back out.

Basically we purchased a fridge and we just keep swapping it. If you are swapping back-to-back with someone, it sounds like the fridge is being forwared directly to your room. If not, you just need to ask for it at the luggage storage desk and can then have it delivered to your room.

Each user places a stick-on label with the next swappers name, check-in date and ressie number on the box before returning it to the luggage desk.\
