Is there anybody else on FIRST Robotics on here?

My daughter (at school now) is involved in 'something' at school that sounds like this.What exactly are you doing? She is in a program called 'First' and they are building a Robot?I'm a bit vague!!
Just looking around and this caught my eye!

Sorry, I was bussy dong something (you can guess what it is). FIRST Robotics was strarted by Dean Kamen, who got his fame with the Independence 3000 iBot, a wheel chair that can climb stairs and stand on two wheels, and most recently, "IT" Ginger, or the Segway HT. Go to www.usfirst.org for info on the play this year and what it is all about. So unlike basketball, baseball, socer, football, or anything else, the thing they have to accommplish each year to gain points changes. And they have to build the robot in a 6 weeks period (yes, 6 WEEKS!) after kick off. And for a bit of info, the Nationals happen in Epcot.
