I originally posted this on the airfare thread but haven't gotten any response and since we're three months out from our trip I figured I'd post it here and hope someone out there can help me.

We're still holding out buying our airfare because JetBlue fares keep fluctuating and the original flight times we eyeballed back in Feb. are no longer listed on the site. We prefer an early (5 or 6AM) flight down and red eye (midnight or after) flight back. We were planning on a 6AM and 11PM but they're not listed anymore.

So a crazy option was suggested to me and I want to throw it out there to see what everybody thinks. I trust my fellow DISers to help me make a decision.

Regardless of my flight time, we plan on spending our last day (saturday) at MK. We'd check out and store our luggage with bell services, have breakfast at CRT and enjoy MK one last time. It was suggested to me that I book our flight home for 6AM the following day(sunday), making the ME bus pickup at 3AM and thereby allowing us to stay at MK through Wishes and then head over to PI for a couple more drinks (Kungaloosh!) before pouting our way back to the hotel to wait for the ME pickup. :confused3

Does this sound plausible to you guys? Aside from it being a crazy long day I also wonder if it's in good taste. I'd appreciate any input you guys can give me to help make a final decision. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like a crazy but fun day. I would do it as long as you aren't traveling with kids and you will have the next day at home to rest.

Not travelling with kids, we're all in our mid 20s (but kids at heart)

Ah to be young and free again. How long is your flight I would just suggest that if you live far from the airport get a room for you day back. Other than that it sound like the perfect end. If you get tired sooner you can always get to the airport early and rest at the gate.

I think that is an awesome idea!

That sounds like a long and tiring day to me but I'm OLD. ;) If PI is your last
stop, my only advice is to make sure nobody is "drunk and disorderly" at the
airport. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the opinions everybody. I'm glad you all seem to think it's a good idea. As for resting the next day - you betcha! We live about 30 minutes from JFK so we're heading straight home to bed. And thanks for the warning about PI and being drunk and disorderly at the airport, but we're not that type. :goodvibes
