shipping to the hotel

Has anyone looked into shipping things to the hotel ahead of time- like the favors, unity candle etc? Is it easy and reliable? Just wondering.

I know a lot of people ship things down before, just make sure it's clearly marked with your name and check in date/ conformation number. I'm going to have to do that since we are flying to Orlando. I'd call the hotel ahead of time to see what they say about marking your packages so they know what to do with them when they receive them.

I shipped two boxes to our hotel. I marked four sides with both our names and check in date. I called the hotel to let them know they were on the way...and the hotel still called asking where the packages needed to go. But everything made it safe : )
