Virgin Holidays - FF 10% discount

When booking a Virgin Holiday, and getting the 10% FF discount, can you book it on line, or do you have to phone up?

For the Virgin Atlantic Fequent Flyer discount, you need to phone and give them your FF number.

ETA - they will not give the discount on taxes and APD charges

My DD is really excited, even more now she is going to get a futher 10% discount!

These poor students (she's in her 2nd year doing Law) need all the discounts they they can get!!

Has she just joined FF? Or is she using your discount? The only reason I ask is that there has been some debate recently over whether VH were still offering the FF discount to VA FFs. Vh told me, when I enquired, that some people were joining FF just to get the 10% - apparently, they will check to make sure you're a 'kosher' member before they will apply the discount. Not sure how true this was though - you know what VH are like - you get a different story from every different agent you speak to :rolleyes:

Yes, she is a FF in her own right, but we've never actually booked through VH before! So, hopefully everything will be ok!
She's just so thrilled she's found a great deal - before the discount, she's got 10 days at the Comfort Inn LBV, and a car for just over £1,200 for both of them, going in September. (enough time to save).
I looked at VA website and put in the same flights .. £684.90 each! (just for the flights). So going with VH is a big saving for them!
