They put all your pictures on a plastic card that looks like a credit card. I think the cheapest way to do photo pass is during a harf ticket event, like MNSSHP or MVMCP, that way you recieve 50% off your pictures. We ordered 4 pictures from when we went to MVMCP and the total came to $50.00!!!, but we only paid $25 because they were half off. Hope this helps! Happy planning!

When I went to WDW for the first time, I did the same thing with my pics. If you don't get them there, you can go online and recieve them. They even let you customize your pics!!!! There should be a website on the card to tell you where to go and once you get on the site, it tells you everything.
Only bad thing was that they only stay online for about a month to two months. Also, even friends and family can get them!!!
Hope this helps somewhat!!!

The first time a PP photographer takes your pciture, he or she will give you a PP card. The card has a number and something like a barcode on the back. Each subsequent time you get a pic taken, the photographer will scan the card. If you forget your card or if your party splits up, you just get another card from the photographer.
When you get home, you go to the PP website and enter your card's numbers. If you have multiple cards, you enter each number (VERY easy on the website; it's not at all unusual to have several cards). Once the numbers are entered, you can see your pics online.
I think individual 5 x 7s cost something like $12.95. You can elect to buy a CD with ALL OF YOUR PICS on it, for $124.95. Along with the CD comes written proof that YOU own the copyright to the pics and are permitted to print them.
It costs absolutely nothing to use PP. You only pay if you choose to purchase prints or the CD.
Is it worth it? That's up to you to decide.

If you want to buy more than 10 Photopass photos then it might be worth it to just buy the Photopass CD for $124.95, otherwise you could just buy the photos individually.
I usually don't have enough great shots to make it worth the CD price. I bought 3 photos last year. They were $12.95 each for a 5x7 which is the same price as if you bought it at WDW before they introduced Photopass. It's just nice and convenient to decide from home, after viewing them and after viewing your own personal photos taken. Once I see mine and theirs, I can decide if I need/want to buy any.
Love Photopass.

If we're over in the UK, can we still order pics and have them shipped to us if we like any of them? I've never heard about shipping costs involved :confused3
Thanks

I went in march and we got the CD. We ended up with over 400 pics b/c we cropped, and added borders and what not originally we had 240 pics taken over the week, but we had about 75 pics from our engagement. They told us to get them online if you are getting the cd b/c they don't the adjustments in the park. The cd was 125, but we have had multiple copies, made and when you get the cd it gives you the right sto the pics, since the borders and what not are copyrighted.

so if youre a party of 12 people but 4 different "groups" of family members...
I can take my photo pass CD and burn copies of it through my computer so that I could have 4 different cds (1 to give to each family)? My mother and I are looking into each paying half for photo pass cd but I wondered if we would both have access to the pictures or if we would have to share that one cd. Thank you in advance for setting my mind at ease...

I have this same question. Is there anyone out there who can answer this? We are traveling with another family and it would make sense for us to 'share' the photo pass cd but only if I can burn a copy. Thanks for helping out the rookie!! :)

I burned the CD and gave a copy to my mom and sister. I went to WDW in March with a group including: my parents, sister and her family, and my husband and me. We split the cost of the photo pass CD between the families and I made a copy of the CD for my mom and sister as I did most of the editing. It was not a problem...copied fine even the copyright copies on to the burned CD.

You can definitely share with another family. We are sharing with several other families when we go next week.

I don't think anyone has mentioned yet that you can preorder the photopass CD before your trip and save $25. You get a code that you plug into the website after your trip along with your photopass numbers.
If after your trip you decide that the photopass wasn't worth it because you didn't get enought pics or whatever, you can get a full refund no questions asked.

Ok, hopefully this works. I am going to past a page from WDWinfo.com. If this link doesn't work go to the web page, type in Photo Pass and it should be on the first link at the bottom of the page.

If the link works then the discount offer is located near the bottom of the page.
I am so excited to use this service. I also think someone said you could add ride photos...anyone know anything about that??

I was told that ride photos will be available through this service, but not at this time. I don't remember hearing about an ETA either.
My question is about the 30 minute one-on-one you can do at select resorts. If you pay 124.95 does that include the sitting fee AND CD?

I found this info on the photopass site:
Additionally, you can schedule a 30 minute one-on-one session with a PhotoPass Photographer at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or the Polynesian Resort. The two package options are:
$49.95 - Sitting Fee only
$124.95 - Sitting Fee plus all of the PhotoPass pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers throughout your stay on a PhotoPass CD (See below for 20% discount offer)
The sessions can be booked up to 30 days prior to arrival. The number to call is: 407-824-1700.

You can have your Test Track ride photo put on your PhotoPass card. That is the only one that I know of so far. But I don't go on many of the "thrill rides" so there could be a few more that I don't know of.

Okay so today I pre purchased my photopass CD. Im a bit confused though, As Im really hoping I didnt purchase it too early. Our trip is August 16th-22nd 2008. Am I going to be okay since I already ordered my CD and I have no photos and wont till After our trip? They will wait right?
Im just wondering if now Im going to lose my money because I ordered too early. Although there are not any real rules or guidelines anywhere to help us all figure this out, LOL. PLEASE HELP EASE MY MIND!

I'm not an expert but the time limit starts once you start using photopass. You use your prepaid code once you go online. If you end up with several photopass cards, you can have them put together when you are there. You can also add your VISA meet and greet photos to it. I also added my MVMCP photos. You end up with lots of photos because you can go online and add borders, icons and even autographs to photos. The different parks have different options. You can crop them too and have a closer up photo. The original photo stays on too. It's lots of fun to do.
You did right by saving money...

Another option is this...let them take your pict and then ask them to take one with your camera. I know that seems weird maybe but PhotoPass is told to take picts with personal cameras if the guest asks them. They will likely take the same pict or at least very similar and you save all that money!
