Can anyone please explain the benefit/attraction/advantage of bringing Disney Dollars on a trip? Are they discounted with a DC membership? Just looking for answers & BARGAINS!

thanx in advance for the help!

No unfortunately no discounts. We don't like to use them, personally. It's just like carrying $ around. We charge everything except for snacks.

Benefit?: Can be given as gifts for people (kids) going to Disney.

Attraction?: Disney can sell anything. Even 'monopoly' money.

Advantage: Disney hopes you'll like the Disney Dollars so much you'll want to keep them as a souvenier. $10.00 profit for a fraction of a penny cost to Disney.

In practical terms, DD are 'legal' tender at the Disney Store, Disneyland and Disneyworld, with the exception of the Dolphin or Swan (if I remember correctly).

Hope this helps,
Joe
