On August 5th the Resort prices go to Value Season rates.

If you are staying at any of the WDW resorts from BEFORE Aug 5th, and after...You will be charged the HIGHER rate for your WHOLE stay.


For instance, I am staying at the Pop from Aug 4 -Aug 13. If I booked the whole stay is would be at the HIGHER rate.
So I booked Aug 4th seperately at the higher rate, then Aug 5 -13 at the lower rate. This was a $214.00 savings if you booked thru WDW! And a $220 saving thru AAA!:thumbsup2

AAA is a 20% discount at a lower rate from Aug 5 and on!:thumbsup2

Thanks for reminder everyone of that. I was originally going to arrive on the 4th August, but realize that value season arrives early this years, so I decided to push myself back a few days (August 6th). I am so glad I did. I originally booked with an AAA rate, but was 'lucky' to get one of those now-disabled 40% off codes. With that said, its 7 days of fun in the sun with Mickey during Value Season!!! YEAH!!!!:banana: :banana:

Yes, but this is only at the value resorts, and moderate resorts. Value season for the Deluxes begins July 8th.

Is the AAA rate 20% off the value rate of $82 for All Stars? I'm a little confused on the discounted amount.

Yes, the AAA rate is 20% off of $82 not including tax.
