We are still considering whether to rent a townhouse from an owner here on the Dis or to stick with a Disney resort......

This may be an odd question but as we haven't seen the front of the townhouses......

Where do you park? Is there a driveway to park in? Does each townhouse have its own driveway?

Thanks!

Each townhouse has their own driveway that is big enough for 1 car. I noticed that there also was a few extra parking spaces at the end of the townhouse complex.

You can park right beside your front door. Here's a picture if this works right.

Yes there's some "overflow" parking at the end of some of the units, and on the street / sides / etc, for those that have more than 1 car, but each townhome has it's own private driveway.

Wow thanks for the quick replies and the pictures :cheer2:

Still trying to make up our minds which way to go. The townhouse sounds so nice with a bedroom and a bathroom for each of us. There is only 3 going and its a 3bed/3bath condo. The splash pool for my son to use while I'm working on my laptop sounds perfect.

Just trying to decide if the extra room is worth loosing the Disney magic

Thanks again everyone!

IMHO there's way more magic in having all the extra room and privacy at the townhouse. You've stayed at Disney many times maybe it's time to try something different. There's benefits to be had both ways. Having a splash pool makes it much easier when you need to work and kids need to swim. And you still have the option of the big pool area. You're as close to the Disney parks as you are from some of the onsite hotels. Good luck in making a decision.
