I just ordered a pair. Tried to try some on at the store but couldn't get them out of the stupid hanger. I've got Capris, Athens and Mary Janes. (And love them all!) Will I like the Ithacas? I searched for reviews and couldn't find but one on the entire Internet. Would love to hear some experiences.

Im interested too. Tried to find them today with no luck. I think theyre just like the Athens (the only flip flops Ive ever been able to wear) but with extra cushioning.

I tried these on at Dick's Sporting Goods the other day and did not like them. I have two pair of the Athens that I love, but I really didn't like the different strap and it is really thin in the front compared to the Athens.

Now I am interested in the new Capri style and I can't find those any place to try them on, nor can I find them available online yet.

I have the Capris; I ordered them from Dillards Online (also where I ordered the Ithacas). I like the Capris. The footbed is a different texture, but it's very comfortable. The top is more cloth-like than the rubber of the Athens, so they're a bit dressier. I'd really like another pair of Capris, but Dillards didn't have any in my size in stock.

I tried on the Ithacas today at Dicks and agree with the other poster. They werent as comfy as the Athens. It feels like the Athens were molded for my feet but in the Ithacas I just didnt feel like they were secure. Not sure how to describe it really. I slipped on another pair of Athens just to see if maybe it was because Ive worn mine for so long, but those too fit like a glove.

I've tried on the Ithacas at Chick's, and they seem to be thinner in the front...

My pair arrived today, and my dh conveniently forgot that he told me I could order them. So just to show him that I'm not a child and can order whatever shoes I want, I wore them today on a mile and a half walk. I normally wear my Capris or Athens, so I thought no problem with the Ithacas. Here's what I noticed:

Definitely thinner at the toe.
Definitely thicker at the heel.
Almost feels like walking on a high heeled flip flop.
Rubbed blisters between my toes, but I did that when I started wearing my Athens again this Spring, so not sure that indicates anything other than that the post on these doesn't sit in the same places as my Capris or Athens.

I think they have the potential to be really comfortable, especially if you're someone who puts a lot of weight on your heels. Mostly I need to get my feet used to them. But with less than 2 weeks till our trip, I might still to the Athens and Capris and leave the Ithacas home.
