I've sold textbooks on Amazon but haven't had any luck with paperbacks. I too ran across books sold at a rediculously low price and know I can get more trading them in at a local used bookstore. The shipping allowance has always been more than I spend to ship the books so maybe they figure they still make a little bit of money.

Don't bother with those books that aren't on demand. Textbooks, bestsellers and guides on current issues are most profitable
