Our 2nd trip of a lifetime!! Day 3

Holiday April 9th 2007-April 23rd.

Thursday 12th April. MAGIC KINGDOM.

Magic Kingdom this morning was opening at 7am, however we didnt make it for 7am, loss of sleep was starting to catch up with us. Needless to say DH and I got up just after 6am and started getting ready, we left the girls sleeping as long as possible. We woke the girls and they got ready (if we were at home and was getting them up for school we would have a tough job on our hands)
We managed to get to Magic Kingdom for about 7.30am

Today we were going to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, with no doubt a stop off at Splash and Thunder mountain ;)

After taking a few shots of the castle we headed to Tommowland and got FP's for Spacemountain,we then went over to Buzz Lightyear and rode that twice we also rode the Indy speedway,we left Stitch,Transit and Astro for another time. We then went on Space Mountain using our FP's, we all love this one as well.

We all started to get hungry,we hadnt had any breakfast yet so we headed over to Sleepy Hollow, I had a Funnel cake Mmmmmmmm and a coffee the girls and had a muffin each and a drink DH also had a muffin with coffee, he then had some of my funnel cake!!. Whilst we finished eating the girls went to Fantasyland, they new where they were going and we told them to go on Dumbo or The Carrousel and we would meet them.

When we arrived the girls were just getting of Dumbo,we then went on to do all the other attractions in Fantasyland, including It's a small world :rolleyes1 last time we were at WDW it was closed. The only ride that I dont do in Fantasyland is the Teacups, the girls spin them like crazy.
We all really enjoyed PhilharMagic again, smell that pie Mmmmmm. Chloe also brought some drumsticks from here.

We had been on everything in Fantasyland so we headed back over to Frontierland..Yes Splash and Thunder.
We started to get hot and tired so we headed back over to Tomorrowland and went on Transit Authority for a sit down.

This day we had an ADR for 2pm at the Crystle Palace it was only around 1pm so we went to Main street and had a look around the shops and of course done some shopping!!
I had been collecting the Lenox Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Trinket boxes but couldnt get Dopey or Snow White, but they had them in one of the shops on Main Street so I got them, so my collection is now compleat.This is a photo of them in the cabinet in the shop.

It was nearly 2pm so we made our way to Crystle Palace, this was our first time here for lunch, last time we had breakfast here and that was great so we were really looking forward to this.
We booked in then sat outside for a while until our pager went off, it was a beautiful day.

Our pager went off and we were seated at a window seat, great view.
The characters came round they were lovely, they also did the Hip-Hip-Horray Parade around the restaurant that the girls joined it, it's like a follow your leader type thing to Winnie the Pooh music, really sweet.

Lunch again was lovely, loads to choose from, even for DH and Chloe who are both vegi.
We all thought it time to take some time out so we went out of Magic Kingdom and caught the bus this time back to Pop.

Today we didnt go swimming we just laid on our beds and tried to get some sleep, I think we all did get some sleep, it was really quiet any way.
I think it was around 7pm and we headed back over to MK on the bus.

Tonight we wanted to see Specto and Wishes.
When we got back to MK we went to Tomorrowland and got FP's Spacemountain whilst we waited for our time we went to Peco Bills again for Burgers and Fries.
we headed back over to Tomorrowland and went on Stitch & Monsters Inc. The Laugh Club. That was really funny it put me and Ellie-Mae up on the screen but we didnt see what it said under us we were to excited to see ourselves, it must of been funny tho, everyone else was laughing.
After going on Spacemountain we went over to Toontown for a walk around and to then find our spot for Specto. Specto was amazing, the girls hadnt seen this before, DH and I saw it at DLRP in 1993 before we had the girls.
We had a great view, we stood in front of the Walt & Mickey statue.

We also watched Wishes that night as well also amazing, not to be missed.
We were all feeling really tired but also hungry so on our way out down Main Street we popped into the Bakery and had something sweet.

We then went out of MK and back to our car I carnt be sure but I think it was about midnight by the time we got back to Pop, never mind we can sleep in tomorrow, it's Friday were going to Ohana for breakfast at the Poly, we dont have to be there til 9am :goodvibes

Michelle I remember it was MNSSHP 2004, we use to chat to each other quite alot on different threads and giving each other advice, there was someone else as well who went the same time, I carnt remember who it was tho. :goodvibes

Another great day's report - I was glad to hear your vegetarians had lots to choose from in CP. Have booked this for our August trip and it's reassuring to know I wont starve!

Sara, we like CP because of this reason. It really is a great place to eat.
Other buffetts we liked were, Cape May, Boma and 1900 Park Fair they all cater really well for vegetarians, even the fussy ones like mine :goodvibes
