Okay folks, I need your help! I have had an e-mail from a reader of my UK Orlando guidebook which I am not immediately sure how to answer. So, I thought the best thing to do would be to ask the people who REALLY know. So, can you tell me what would be good, cool stuff for a 17-year-old to do in Disney and Orlando? I am also advising them to come and hang out here, too!

Thanks for all the suggestions/hints/advice you can give.

At night I usually just go back to the hotel with my parent. Teens can get into Pleasure Island with an adult. The adult doesn't have to stay with them the whole time though...just to get in. Teens can only get in certian clubs but I hear it is still fun. There is always the parks. They stay open untill about 10:00pm on most nights, but the times vary. Downtown Disney stays open after the parks, but I am not sure how late. There are some great resturants including- Rainforset Cafe,Wolfgang Puck,Cap'n Jack's, and a personal favorite, Ghirardelli Soda fountian and Chocolate shop. In West Side there is also Disney Quest. Don't forget Board Walk! There is always something to do there! If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

Hi! I think my Mum, Hilary, chats with you on the UK boards. I'm her DD you may have heard about!!
Anyway, how about suggesting E-ride nights? If the teen is going to WDW with some friends, their parents could leave them at MK for the E-ride night. We did this on our last trip and it was great. Nearly all of the 'big' rides are open and it's practically deserted! In my opinion, WDW is also a pretty safe place to leave your teens on their own without an adult. I think it would be great to go around the park with some friends(I'm 16). As you probably know, E-ride nights do cost, but as a teen, I would recommend it to other teens as a fun night out and an alternative to nightclubs and stuff. Anyway, just ask if you have any more questions regarding teenagers!

Well she might like to hang around downtown disney, the west side and pleasure island at night. I think that, that would be a good place for older teens to go at night
